This project was a new commercial loan and operations center for Greenfield Cooperative Bank. The existing 100 year old building has three stories and 15000 square feet of space. The entire building was stripped down to the structure and re-finished to modern office and banking facility standards, while also keeping parts of the original architectural elements of the building present in the aesthetic. ADA accessibility, as well as energy efficiency, was a priority with the new design. A high R-value in the walls and roof was achieved, as well as the use of energy efficient light fixtures and natural day lighting. The front portion of the building was modified to accommodate a new elevator, and the entry foyer floor was lowered to be ADA accessible. This project was a great example of an owner (GCB), architect (Kuhn Riddle) and builder collaborating to save and improve a piece of Greenfield’s history.

Scapes acted as the Construction Manager, in addition to self-performing carpentry, excavation and hard-scapes.
